I visited the Museum today for a "3-fer"… Demo Day, Best of Britain exhibit, and Book discussion (Brit car book "Rule Britannia"). Then also got a couple of added bonuses when I ran into a fellow TE/AE member and the car of another Club "friend" – the gorgeous blue Marcos GT in the exhibit. At least part of the theme for the exhibit is "Forgotten Fiberglass".

You are lucky to be so close to the museum. Sounds like a great exhibit.

I really need to visit there sometime! The Marcos was at the United in MD a few years ago, really nice car. Thanks Mark.

Fin found a cool sign when we were there.

Yep, I go over there pretty frequently… not every month – but 3 weekends in a row in November 8) it’s a 1/2 hour cruise. Members get in any time – no limit.
If any one ever goes there, let me know and we could try to meet up.
I remembered Dave’s Marcos from the United, I also think that he had it a Crab Feast?
Was this Talbot there when you guys visited with Fin? Very cool car, super race history, fascinating "pre-selector" gearbox.
The guys were also saying that the 300SL "Gullwing" has direct injection (1954 😯 ).

here’s the badge on the nose:

Would make a great pit stop on the way to the Long Island United in September. 😀
