It’d be helpful to list the gear ratios wide or close ratio? Shipping will kill you. I paid like 250 over a year ago to ship built 289 heads So. Cal. to to Florida.

This is a close ratio. Could you get a Tiger with a wide wide ratio?

Yes the MK2 had a wide ratio. Many retrofit to that gearset, some with a lower 1st and a 2.72 rear end for lower freeway rpm’s

Thanks for that info I didn’t know that. I could see the wide ratio with a rear gear in the 2’s to help off the line. I know some people don’t like the uneven rpm gap between 1 and 2 and the rest, probably mainly for drag racing.
