  I bought the new seal from Rick and it came with instructions that attempt to save some installation frustration by advising how to pre-glue the seal in place. However, it’s not clear to me where exactly I should be gluing the round bulb (bottom of the T shaped cross section).
  Does this bulb actually reside inside the windshield, visible from inside the car when the windshield is installed? Or does it sit underneath the frame, out of sight? I googled and searched, and came up empty. Thanks.

  Goes on the inside, really not that noticable against the black dash top. You’ll need to cut a small section out where the center stud is.
