  Sunbeam race fans Team Tiger will be making its first trip to the famous Watkins Glen International 4th of July weekend. We are scheduled to run a test day on July 3rd and the event will have 2 qualifying sessions on Friday July 4th and 30 minute sprint races on both Saturday and Sunday.   2014 has shown great improvement in performance after a lot of hard work this past winter. Our first 3 race weekends were very competitive with 2 second place finishes at Rd Atlanta in March, a 4th and 5th at VIR in April (ran out of talent on Sunday) and a second and our 1st win of the season on Sunday June 1st at Mid Ohio. The SCCA GT2 class has been changed over the past 2 years with not only the Porsche 997 GT3 Cup but now World Challenge / STO cars like Audi R8, Corvette and Vipers. The results are faster lap times and much more competition.

  The history and ambiance at Watkins Glen is hard to match, plus it is a great layout. Should be an interesting trip for you.
  The GT2 competition sounds brutal.
