Do the tigers use the same temp sender as all the other early small blocks or is the resistances different?

Anyone know what the resistances should be at room temp to use with the stock guages.

          See my Gage article at:

          http://www.tigersunited.com/techtips/Br … Gauge1.asp

That has everything you might want to know about the the gages and senders.

The short answer is that you need the right Lucas sender to work with the original Sunbeam gages.

Do you have any data on what the sender’s resistances should be?

All the data I have is in the tables in the article. Extrapolate from the curves, and you will see it’s probably fairly high, 200, maybe 250 Ohms or more. I don’t recall ever measuring a room temp sender, though since it’s a temp sensor, the reading would depend on the temp of the room…;-)))

Oops sorry, I didn’t notice there was more than one page. 😳
