  I would like to take the original(??) Motorola radio and replace the guts with a modern radio/CD player and still have it fit into the original radio surround housing. Does anyone have any ideas about where I could go to get that done? I’m in the Philadelphia area.

  You have a couple of options –
  
  1. – install one of these:
  
  "At last, I can listen to music from my CD player, iPod®, satellite radio or cassette player without modifying my car’s original AM or AM/FM radio."

  I plan on using this unit in my Tiger.
