I am wondering what they will sell for too. And with about 4 inches missing from both front trims how will the new owner fix that?

          eric,
these moldings may be the ones that were on the alpine fastback starting in 1970. if you remember there is a set on my white car. the old guy that installed them has told me he used to have to add to them to fit the tiger. other than that they are the same and were readily available from dealers.

My brother chopped the front of the wheel arches the same way in 1968 on his Mk2 in order to fit his fatter tires on the front without rubbing.
