  I’m working on a Tiger Mk II with a poorly installed Rootes Ammeter Kit. I have been told that the ammeter harness should be connected to the charging system at the starter relay.
  
  I would like to see a picture of how the stock Mk II ammeter is connected to the charging system.

  The proper method of connecting any ammeter (Ford): From the starter solenoid (pos) to the (neg) post on the ammeter, and then from the pos post on the ammeter to the voltage regulator (A). Make sure to use a healthy sized wire equal to the potential amperage loading.
