July will be a test of speed and endurance with 3 SCCA Major weekends in 4 weeks. 1st will be our return trip to the iconic Watkins Glen International in the Finger Lake region of New York. A test day is scheduled for July 2nd. Qualifications for the Majors races are Friday July 3rd with race 1 on Saturday July 4th and race 2 on Sunday July 5th. Team Tiger then heads to Gingerman Raceway in South Haven Michigan. This is a 2 day weekend with Qualifying and race 1 on Saturday July 11th and race 2 July 12th. We get a week off before going to the fast 4.0 mile Road America in Elkhart Lake Wisconsin. This is also a 2 day Majors weekend with qualifying and race 1 on Saturday July 24th and race 2 on Sunday July 25th. You can follow the live timing on all these events on

After all this action we get to go to the United at Dayton so hopefully we will have great results to report.

Good luck! …and we’ll look forward to seeing you in Dayton and hearing the full report.
Maybe you’ll get a whole race in the dry somewhere along the line ๐Ÿ™„

It sounds like a crazy month, but then again you will be racing at 2 of the most storied road courses in the USA 8)

Watkins Glen went great for Team Tiger! 8 very good GT2 cars on the grid and we took the pole for both Saturday and Sunday’s races. After losing the lead in turn 1 in Saturday’s race we battled back to take the lead and finished 1st and reset the track record! On Sunday we took the lead but an early full course caution allowed the cars to close up. We kept the lead on the restart but with 3 laps to go and a little nudge in the Tiger’s tail the Corvette took the lead. We gave chase but time ran out as we finished one tenth of a second back but reset the track record again on that final lap (157.069).

Just finished prepping the Tiger for this weekends SCCA Majors race at Gingerman. We are going from a top speed of 158mph at WGI to less than 140mph at this weekends venue Gingerman. Another very strong field of 7 GT2 competitors. Schedule is very demanding as we qualify Saturday morning and have our 1st race early Saturday afternoon. Race 2 is early Sunday.

Gingerman is very close to South Haven MI so if you are in the area please stop by.
