        Looking good!

As I’m obviously not "in the loop"… what color is this gonna be?

White with red interior. Does that sound like anything I already own?

No, It’s not finished. The interior, engine compartment and underneath are painted. The shop takes vacation at this time every year so hopefully the rest will soon get painted.

The car has been home for a couple months. It’s starting to look like a LeMans again.I changed the date to on the camera to 2012

Lots of little things have been done such as the R&R of the rear end and springs, installed the rear tube shock conversion kit, installed the gas tank, made a new plywood spare tire cover and installed rear upholstery panels along with the rear seat back and hinges, tail lights and all wiring for the rear including the dome light and wires to the door switches, installed the window regulators ,window channels, door handles, brake calipers and all brake lines and many other little things. We re stalled on several things since the upholstery shop won’t be able to install the head liner until January after he gets back from Florida. The unused reproduction head liner that came with the car may have to be replaced since he’s not sure it will fit. I did lay down some of the carpet to get an idea of what it will look like. I dropped the reproduction Harrington egg crate grill off at Li Brandi’s last month to be cut down in size and polished because it wouldn’t fit the opening. It stuck out at least an inch in front of the eyebrow. I probably won’t get it back until sometime in February due to their back log of work. I’ve fitted many parts several times until Jean and I are happy with the fit. It’s going to be a long ,slow build.

Car looks great… definitely looking forward to seeing it all together!

… but the dates on the photos are making me dizzy – from 2022 back to 2012 😯

This camera has it’s own mind. Jean turned off the date but every time I shut it off it resets to a different date. I guess I’m at the point that it doesn’t matter to me. Why waste the time resetting the date? One guy kept griping about the quality of the photo. He’s never seen what the old Kodak Brownie camera that took black and white only did to a photo. She picked this camera out of a list of items offered to her for so many years of service at the hospital. It was free so that says a lot. With all the money being spent on this car we can’t afford to buy a different camera.

Another piece of the puzzle showed up this week. LiBrandi’s shipped me the finished Harrington egg crate grill.

It’s starting to come together. The headliner is done and the windshield installed along with all of the wiring. Waiting for the A post weather strip to arrive but starting to assemble the dash.

                                  Thanks,
I turned it over to an " OLD GUY" at Tiger Auto to do some things I didn’t want to get into and correct other things. The wife always gives him the same directions. Just Fix It! Doors adjusted, windows installed, grill area modified and egg crate grill installed along with several other things. Need to wire and install dash ,engine/trans and small items. It may make the trip to the United.

The Harrington is wearing it’s new tires and wheels. I still have to hook up the dash wiring and install the steering column switches. After that comes the new engine and trans. It" MAY" make it to the United.

if it makes it to the United, you’ll need to bring some extra towels to mop up all of the drool 8) 🙂

The Harrington has been stored away and haven’t touched it since August. It gets it’s engine this weekend.
