  I’m happy to announce that my 1962 Sunbeam Alpine factory team car will be heading back to Florida, as it has been invited to the Amelia Island Concours de Elegance, March 11. From there, it will head down to Sebring, Florida to run in the SVRA support race to the American Le Mans 12 Hours of Sebring. This is the 50th anniversary of my car running the 12-hour, so I thought it was worth towing all the way out from California. If all goes well, the car should be on track in a practice session on Wednesday at 5 pm, with the race taking place Friday at 6 pm. There’s a chance we may also be in exhibition laps proceeding the 12-hour at 8:30 am on Saturday. If you’re attending the show or the race, please come by and say hello.

  What an honor for you and your Alpine! Make sure to take lots of photos for the whole Sunbeam community.
