Thanks to Ron and Cathy. I sent a picture of the spring to a guy who has restored several small block Cobras and he said though they used a hydraulic clutch they did not use any type of retainer for the pushrod at the fork. I ordered a couple of the Mopar springs you found from Summit since they seem like a good starting point, I will be back at work on the Tiger after the Sunbeam event in SC this weekend and will let you know if I have any success.
