Absolutely great weather in South Haven MI this past weekend! Low humidity and sunny skies, great weather for racing. The car was very quick qualifying 3rd both days and finishing 6th on Saturday after a post race penalty for passing under the yellow (more later) and 3rd on Sunday. Both races were a blast to run despite finishing 3rd. The 1st race we stayed with the leaders in the early laps and then started pressing the Camaro for second, finally getting by on brakes at end of the straight. Unfortunately a yellow flag popped up as we were running together down the straight and I made the mistake of completing the pass. Really made no difference as we got it wrong in the back section and went off while chasing down the leader allowing the Camaro to come around. Sunday’s race the car was on rails again but could not get by the Camaro after a race long battle.
