I used a Lakewood on a 302 40 years ago. Memories include using a big hammer on the firewall, fabricating a slave cylinder bracket and dragging it on speed bumps because it becomes the lowest point on the car.
If you are not going to be racing, a Ford bell housing is a better idea. One man’s opinion.
