I have a Smiths clock on my 65, though the wires aren’t currently attached. It does say "FOR NEGATIVE EARTH" at the top, and "MADE IN UK CE 3131/00" at the bottom. The lettering is very tiny, all in capitals, and practically hidden behind the trim. I tried to get a picture, but the lettering does not show up.
