#61561

Hi Chuck, that’s a custom I built for my brother in law. It started out as a ’55 chevy 150 handiman wagon. Beside the regular sheet metal replacement like all the floors, inner and outer rockers and body mount stuff, there are 19 significant modifications done to it. One of the venues he shows the car at employs a point system to enter. Points are awarded for each modification, minimun 100 to enter, He’s got 175 with this car. The roof was chopped 3 inches and a 1963 chevy wagon roof with the ribs replaced the standard smooth one. The body was also lowered 2 inches. 1956 Desoto quarters were grafted onto the quarters extending them slightly. 1955 Pontiac Starchief side trim. The front consists of a 57 Desoto bumper that was modified to fit, an extended nosed hood, 77 Cordoba frenched headlight buckets and electric antenna. Customised front fenders going into fake Lakes. The rear end treatment is a modified 57 chevy rear bumper, 56 Dodge recessed plate mount and 59 Caddy tail lights. Four Grand Am bucket full custom interior with T-Bird console.
